Recruitment Eligibility

The eligibility criteria is the set of norms candidates must fulfill before applying for the KVS recruitment  In terms of age, and educational qualification, the candidates have to fulfill the minimum set standards, in order to be eligible for the Recruitment process. Candidates who are not meeting the eligibility criteria will be rejected from the Recruitment process and the various eligibility criteria are discussed below.

 Eligibility: Nationality

The candidate applying for the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Recruitment  must be a resident of any state of India. And he/she must have a citizenship certificate approved by the government like a Voters Card or Aadhar Card.

Age relaxation

Reserved categories such as SC/ ST (05 years), OBC (03 years), and Women (10 years) will get the respective relaxation in age limits and only applicable for the categories mentioned above.

 Educational Qualifications

CATEGORY EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Principal, Vice-Principal Candidates must have a post-graduation degree with B.Ed. from any recognized university or institution and the respective relevant experience.
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Candidates must have completed B.Tech or B.E, B.Sc, BCA, M.Sc, MCA, / any equivalent PG Degree and have B.Ed from any recognized University/ Institution.
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Candidates must have completed any graduation or Bachelor’s Degree course and B.Ed from any recognized University or Institution.
Primary Teacher Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary or 10+2 with having a B.El.Ed. or D.El.Ed course or its equivalent certificate.
Primary Teacher (Music) Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary or 10+2 examination with 50% marks or a Bachelor’s degree in Music or its equivalent.
Computer Instructor Candidates must have BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.SC/BCA or any equivalent course from any recognized university or College.
Data Entry Operator (DEO) Candidates must have completed graduation and B.Ed, from any recognized university or Institution.
Librarian The candidate must have a diploma or degree in the discipline of Library Science from a recognized university or institution.

 

Application Form

KVS TGT PGT Recruitment Application form can be filled by following the mentioned process below:

  • A valid personal email ID is mandatory for the job hunters before applying.
  • Till the complete KVS Recruitment process gets completed the email ID should be reserved active for further process and updates.
  • Visit the KVS official website (https://www.kvsangathan.nic.in/).
  • On a homepage, click on the “KV PGT TGT Jobs Notification” link and download the pdf file to your device.
  • Read all the details about your eligibility.
  • To start the registration process candidates are required to press on the “Apply Kendriya Vidyalaya Posts Online Application Form” URL link.
  • The prescribed format of the form will appear on your device screen.
  • All the mandatory details should be entered in the form.
  • All the scanned copies of certificate/ documents, recent photograph, signature as given in the instructions must be uploaded for further proceeding.
  • Examination fees must be paid according to the category of the candidate.
  • Check out the entered information and then press the “Final Submit” button.
  • After successful submission, a system-generated login ID and password will be mailed to the given email address to be viewed.
  • At last, a printout of the application for document verification is to be done.

Application Fees

  • 1,000/- for PGT, TGT posts.
  • SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-serviceman category candidates are not required to pay any kind of fees for the application process.

Admit Card

For appearing in the examination the individual must need to carry their valid KVS Admit cards along with them at the respective ex centers. The KVS Admit Card will be released soon on its official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. After the admit card is announced, all the eligible candidates can easily go through the official website and download or take a printout for the KVS TGT PGT Admit Card before the exam date.

How to Download KVS  Admit Card?

Process To Download Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Recruitment  Admit Card:

  1. Visit the official website i.e. kvsangathan.nic.in.
  2. On the home page, you need to follow the link of the “Announcements” section available on the left side.
  3. After that hit on to “suitable link regarding KVS Exam Admit Card .
  4. A new page of the KVS PGT Admit Card Login Page will be displayed.
  5. Fill in the necessary details such as the correct registration number, date of birth, etc.
  6. Press on to the “Login” tab, after filling correct details
  7. After filling in the relevant asked details a new page of the KVS TGT Admit Card will be displayed.
  8. You need to download the Admit Card of KVS on your desktop.
  9. At the end take a printout of the KVS  Admit card and bring it at the time of the exam.

Results

KVS result  is supposed to be declared in two categories, which are written and final results. The KVS Result at each stage will be sure whether the candidate is eligible for the further process of Recruitment or not. If the Written Exam is being cleared by the candidates, then they should prepare for the further Recruitment process, which will be taken as an Interview. After the candidate is done with the interview process, the final result is prepared by the conducting body as per the aggregate marks obtained including both the written test and interview. Types of KVS Result

There are basically two types of KVS results, for example, the written exam result and final interview result that have been explained below:

KVS Result – Written exam

The results of the written examination for KVS will be declared purely on the basis of posts. The candidates will further be selected to interview round on the cut-off marks of the written exam. The written exam conducted is of a total of 200 marks and the result is prepared purely on the basis of marks obtained in the respective written test.

KVS Result -Final Interview Result

Candidates shortlisted for the Interview round will be shortlisted on the basis of their written exam results and provided with various dates of choice for the interview round. The interview consists of 60 marks for the respective questions. After the interview, KVS will prepare the final result which includes the interview scores and written scores to select applicants for the posts. The various posts that are vacant according to the notification have a fixed weightage given to the written exam and interview that is 85:15 respectively for the posts.

How to Check KVS Recruitment Result?

To get the KVS  result, you just follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Go to the KVS official website – kvsangathan.nic.in.
  2. Look for the link to check Kendra Vidyalayas result.
  3. Click on that result link.
  4. On the screen there a login page will be shown.
  5. Fill in the details such as login ID number, Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy), roll number, and password
  6. Click on the Download option after filling in the dates.
  7. A merit list containing the names of selected candidates will be displayed.
  8. Then download the PDF file of the merit list.
  9. Take a printout of the result to use for further selection rounds.

Expected Cutoffs

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will soon declare the cut-offs for the exams on their official website. (www.kvsangathan.nic.in) The cut-off for KVS Exam is the minimum marks that a candidate needs to secure to pass the test for the further level. Candidates who have been shortlisted will be asked to join the Interview round.

After the interview is conducted by the KVS, The final cut-off will be released. Candidates who have secured above the final cut-off marks will be recruited for the posts they have applied for.
