It is advised that aspirants should always refer to the exam pattern to have better clarity of the exam, and it will also enhance their preparation.
The exam pattern for the Haryana Constable written test or Knowledge Test is as follows:
- The Haryana Police Constable paper is based on the 10+2 level.
- All questions are going to be a multiple choice answers type questions.
- There will be 100 questions in total
- The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
- Except for the English Language section, the medium of the question paper will be both English and Hindi.
- At least 10 questions will also be there to test the basic knowledge of computers.
- There will be no negative marking in the written Test.

Haryana Police Eligibility Criteria
The candidates applying for Haryana Police Constable must make sure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria that as prescribed by the authorities.

Haryana Police Constable Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized education Board/Institution.
- Candidates must have studied Matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects or higher education.

The candidates applying for the Haryana Police Constable exam must fulfill the age criteria as per the official notification. The required age criteria is given below –
- The age of the candidate must be within 18-25 years.
- For ex-servicemen, the break in service between the date of discharge and between the 1st day of the month (i.e. 01.12.2020) in which the enrolment process is started, shall not exceed four years.
- All those candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, and Economically weaker section (EWS) categories will be given an upper age relaxation limit of 5 years.
Physical Measurement Criteria for Haryana Police Constable Exam
The PMT refers to the Physical Measurement Test. As per the official notification, the physical measurements for male and female candidates for the different categories for Haryana Police Constable are as follows.

- The upper age limit is 27 years. According to the Haryana Government rules, age relaxation is provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories.
- Age relaxation of 4 years from the date of discharge is provided to ex-servicemen candidates.

- Candidates must hold a Graduation degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in their Metric.
