by Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has removed 260 vacancies of Assistant Engineer. These recruits were removed under advertisement number 06/2019 but the commission has reopened the application process once again. Earlier, the Commission had removed 156 vacancies but now 104 vacancies have been added to it. That means now there is a total of 260 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of APSC apsc.nic.in till 16 June 2020.
Earlier, the commission was going to conduct a screening test (OMR) on 5 April but had to postpone it due to Corona virus epidemic and lockdown. A new screening test date will be announced later.

Age Range
Minimum age limit – 21 years and maximum age limit – 38 years. Age will be calculated from 1 January 2019.
SC / ST category will be given 5 years relaxation in age. The OBC / MOBC class will be given a three-year exemption.
Pay Scale – 30,000 / -1,10,000 / – PB 4 – 12,700 / With Grade Pay
