The Examination Regulatory Committee for Assistant teachers recruitment will decide the fate of three out-of-syllabus questions, asked in the question paper. Candidates will either get full marks against these three wrong questions or these questions will be put off the marking list.
The ATRE was held on January 6. The answer key was uploaded on January 18 for objections. Close to 22,000 candidates have raised objections on 142 questions out of 150 asked in the test. After scrutiny, experts found three out-of syllabus questions asked in the test.

Earlier, the process was stalled due to court challenging, later the honorable court has upheld the state government’s decision of raising the cut off for general and reserved category applicants from 45% and 40% to 65% and 60%, respectively. On May 6, the Lucknow bench of Allahabad high court HC upheld the state government’s decision and clear the hurdles for recruitment of assistant teachers in the state.
