Agnipath Scheme Salary: ‘Agniveer’ will get 30% deducted salary, after 4 years this money will be available in lump sum – For the past few days, there has been a ruckus across the country regarding the Agnipath scheme. Violent opposition to this plan is being done in many states. So far, many trains have been burnt in protest against this plan and government properties have been damaged on a large scale. On the other hand, experts in government and military affairs are appreciating this plan.

The three armies have also issued a notification regarding the recruitment of Agniveers. Let us know that under this scheme, the youth recruiting in the army will get Agniveer Salary and what benefits they are going to get after retirement.

According to the government notification, people recruited under the Agniveer scheme will get 30 percent salary deducted every month. According to the notification, the total salary of Agniveers in the first year will be 30 thousand rupees. Out of this, there will be a deduction of 30 percent i.e. 9 thousand rupees for the Seva Nidhi Fund. In this way, the in-hand salary of Agniveers in the first year will be 21 thousand rupees. The amount deposited in the Agniveer Sewa Nidhi Fund will be paid in lump sum after the completion of the tenure of four years.

The government has said that in the second year, the salary of Agniveers will be increased by 10 percent. With this, the total salary will increase to 33 thousand rupees in the second year.

Out of this, Rs 9,900 will go to Sewa Nidhi Fund and Agniveers will get Rs 23,100 every month. In the third year, the total salary of these youth will increase to Rs 36,500. Of these, Rs 10,950 will be for service fund fund and in-hand salary will be Rs 25,550.

In the fourth and final year, the total salary of Agniveers will further increase to Rs 40,000. During the fourth year, Agniveers will get 28 thousand rupees in their hands every month. The remaining 12 thousand rupees will be deposited in the service fund fund. In this way, the contribution of each Agniveer in the service fund package during the entire four years will be Rs 5.02 lakh. The government will also deposit Rs 5.02 lakh on its own behalf in the fund. In this way, after the end of the four-year term, the Agniveers will get a lump sum of Rs 10.04 lakh.

Apart from this, the government is also going to give other benefits to the Agniveers. The government will also pay interest on the amount deposited in the Service Fund Fund.

The rate of interest will be equal to the interest received on EPFO’s pension scheme Employee Provident Fund. Checkout more upcoming jobs.

There will be no PF Deduction from the salary of Agniveers. Income tax will also not have to be paid on the lump sum payment of service fund fund. Standard Income Tax Act will be applicable on the basic salary of Agniveers.
